9. Graphics Card (GPU) Policy

Some listings offer an option to purchase a system without a dedicated graphics card (GPU). If you select the “No GPU” option:

  • The graphics card shown in the product images will not be included.
  • A temporary display adapter may be installed to allow for initial system setup and boot testing only. This is not capable of gaming or high-performance tasks.
  • This option is intended for customers who already have their own GPU or do not require one.
  • Systems with CPUs that lack integrated graphics will not function without a proper GPU installed. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure compatibility.
  • Gattatron Computers is not liable for performance issues or system inoperability caused by missing or incompatible user-installed GPUs.

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time without prior notice. Updates will be posted on this page.


Return & Refund Policy

Australian Consumer Law Notice: Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

1. Consumer Guarantees Under Australian Law

Your rights as a consumer are protected by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which forms Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth). These rights cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by any terms in this policy. Our voluntary 60-day return policy (described below) is offered in addition to, and does not replace or limit, your rights under the ACL.

Under the ACL, if goods fail to meet a consumer guarantee, you are entitled to a remedy — repair, replacement, or refund — depending on whether the failure is major or minor. There is no fixed time limit on consumer guarantee rights; they apply for whatever period is reasonable given the nature and price of the goods.

2. Our Voluntary 60-Day Return Policy

In addition to your ACL rights, we offer a voluntary 60-day return policy for products that are faulty due to manufacturing defects or component failure. To be eligible under this voluntary policy:

  • The fault must be due to a manufacturing defect or component failure, not user damage or misuse.
  • The product must be returned in its original condition, including all accessories, and packaged securely for shipment.
  • Returns will not be accepted for change of mind under this voluntary policy.

Note: Systems purchased without a GPU that are returned due to lack of display output or performance issues attributable to the absent GPU will not qualify for a refund under this voluntary policy, unless a separate hardware fault is confirmed. Please ensure you understand what is and is not included before selecting the “No GPU” option.

3. Exclusions

A remedy will not be provided under our voluntary policy (though your ACL rights remain unaffected) if the issue is caused by:

  • User negligence, including physical damage, liquid damage, or improper handling.
  • Software issues, such as viruses, malware, or corrupted operating systems resulting from user actions.
  • Unauthorised modifications, including overclocking, tampering, or hardware modifications.
  • Installation of an incompatible or faulty user-supplied GPU.

4. Return Process

  • Contact us at gattatroncomputers@gmail.com to initiate a return and describe the fault.
  • Once your return request is approved, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label via email.
  • Pack the item securely and use the provided label to send it back. We recommend retaining your original packaging after purchase, as it is the safest way to return the item and helps prevent damage in transit. However, please note that under the Australian Consumer Law, you are not required to return goods in their original packaging in order to be entitled to a remedy.
  • Once received, the product will be inspected before a refund or replacement is issued.

5. Refunds

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 1–5 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item.
  • We reserve the right to refuse a refund if the product is found to be damaged due to misuse or if the return does not meet our eligibility requirements, subject always to your ACL rights.
  • In cases where a full refund is not warranted but a fault is partially attributable to a product defect, Gattatron Computers may, at its discretion, offer a partial refund. The value of any partial refund will be assessed and communicated to you by Gattatron Computers based on the nature and extent of the fault, the condition of the returned item, and the degree to which the issue is attributable to a manufacturing defect versus wear or misuse. Any partial refund offer does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

6. Shipping Responsibility

We will provide a prepaid return shipping label for all approved returns. If, upon inspection, the product is found not to be faulty, we may request reimbursement of return shipping costs, or return the item to you at your expense.

7. Policy Updates

We reserve the right to update this policy at any time without prior notice. Your ACL rights are not affected by any such update.


Terms & Conditions

By using our website and purchasing from Gattatron Computers, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

1. General Terms

  • Gattatron Computers sells refurbished computers within Australia only.
  • All products are tested and verified as functional unless stated otherwise.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at our discretion.

2. Product Condition

  • All components are in working condition unless otherwise stated, but may show signs of previous use consistent with refurbished goods.
  • Unauthorised modifications (hardware or software) by the customer may affect your ability to claim remedies under our voluntary return policy, but do not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

3. Shipping & Delivery

  • Orders are shipped via Australia Post with tracking and insurance.
  • Shipping is only available within Australia. We do not offer international shipping.
  • Delivery times vary and are subject to Australia Post’s schedule.
  • Gattatron Computers is not responsible for delivery delays caused by third parties.
  • By agreeing to these Terms, you also agree to Australia Post’s Terms and Conditions and Privacy Statement.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law), Gattatron Computers is not responsible for data loss, software corruption, or user-caused issues following purchase. Customers are responsible for backing up their data before making any modifications to their system. We are not liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising from product use, except where such liability cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

5. Performance Estimates Disclaimer

  • Some product listings may include estimated performance results based on the PC-Builds FPS calculator or similar tools.
  • These results are for reference purposes only and are not guaranteed to reflect real-world gaming performance.
  • Factors such as software updates, driver versions, and in-game settings may affect actual performance.
  • Gattatron Computers is not liable for discrepancies between estimated and actual system performance.

6. Warranty & Repairs

  • If a product is defective, we will assess and attempt to repair or replace it where possible, consistent with our obligations under the Australian Consumer Law.
  • Troubleshooting assistance is provided at our discretion. Customers may be directed to manufacturer support channels for additional help.
  • Before any return or repair is approved, Gattatron Computers may ask the customer to perform basic diagnostic steps as a condition of progressing the claim. These steps may include, but are not limited to: disconnecting the system from power, reseating components such as RAM, GPU, and other removable components, and checking cable connections. Gattatron Computers will provide written instructions and/or instructional video guides to assist with these steps. These steps are non-destructive and do not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
  • Any repairs conducted on the product must be carried out safely, with power fully disconnected from the system. Gattatron Computers is not liable for any damage or harm arising during or as a result of repairs, including damage to the computer or any person conducting repairs.

7. Amendments to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our website constitutes acceptance of any changes. Your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected by any amendments.
